Lectures & Presentations
There are three types of presentations that Chris Nicola offers. The first is a 30 to 60 minute slide show during which he not only tells the story of how five Jewish families survived the Holocaust by taking refuge in a cave for over a year, but also the story of how he first spent 10 years in confirming that a rumor that he had heard about some Jews surviving the Holocaust by living in a cave were true by finding Survivors, and then another 10 years in bringing about both a book and documentary about "The Secret of Priest's Grotto"
The second type of presentation that Chris offers is done in conjunction with the just mentioned 84 minute long documentary, No Place On Earth. In these type of presentations Chris usually gives a 5 to 10 minute introduction of the film, and then leads a 20 to 30 minute discussion and Q&A session following the film.
The third type of presentation which Chris offers is a special 15 to 20 minute condensed version of his above mentioned slide show presentation, where his part in the story has been eliminated, and the focus is placed solely on the Survivors themselves. This presentation was designed to be incorporated into a Yom Hashoah service.
